Quality management system
Water Research Institute (WRI) Bratislava has obtained certificated quality management system according to the International ISO 9001:2008 Standard by the certifikating authority SKQS – Slovak Association for Quality Management System, Ltd. Žilina.
The SKQS Žilina have executed the external audit in the WRI Bratislava from (27-28)th, November 2011; it follows from this audit that the quality management system is in a functioning state and a trend of a continual improvement on the quality management system was proven.
The System has a functional character, it is useful for the extent of WRI Bratislava activities and the SKQS are recommend from the external auditors for keeping valid the ISO 9001:2008 quality certificate in future, which was issued 27th, November 2011.
The WRI has apart from the certificated system also two laboratories accredited according to the Standard STN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 by the Slovak National Accreditation Service.
These are:
- National Water Reference Laboratory for Slovakia
- Calibration Laboratory of Flow Meters and Water Meters
Besides, the Calibration Laboratory of Flow Meters and Water Meters and the Department of Radiochemistry of the National Water Reference Laboratory for Slovakia are authorised by the Slovak Office of Standardization, Metrology and Testing.
