In the area of improving the professional qualifications of staff the institute seeks to provide access to new knowledge in science and technology and other information necessary to perform their working activities. The number of educational events, various workshops, lectures and conferences are attended by our staff and in 2008, our employees participated in 77 national and 21 international training activities. In total, 148 employees attended national events and 46 employees attended 102 international events.

Staff has very good conditions for self-learning in the Librarian – Information Service. During the first half of 2009 the Librarian-Information Service was used by 88 users. In total 156 loans were recorded. In addition to the loans from the librarian fund, periodicals are available directly in the library.
